ARCHBISHOP HARRY FLYNN EMBRACES KIDS TO THE RESCUE™ FOUNDERS AND SUPPORTS THEIR CHALLENGE FOR KIDS TO GET INVOLVED
St. Paul, Minnesota, 1/17/06 - Kids To The Rescue™ (KTTR) founders Audrey Feltz and Rachel Floeder were invited to meet with the Archbishop of the St. Paul/Minneapolis Catholic diocese, Harry Flynn. He presented them with a personal donation to their “for kids by kids” Hurricane relief fund. When asked how the girls felt about his acknowledgement and support of their project, they had this to say. “It made us feel very proud of what we’re doing and we know other people will be willing to help when they hear he helped us. We are so thankful”.

Kids To The Rescue™, a fund established following the Hurricane disasters last fall, continues to reach across all of America with the goal of challenging all 54 million school age children to earn and donate $1.00 or more to help the kids who continue to struggle with getting their lives back to normal. With The Salvation Army acting as the collection agent, all donations made to KTTR are returned to children who need assistance. Collectively, the kids of the United States can make a huge difference by sharing just a little bit of what they have with those who have nothing!
